Hi! In addition to being a blogger, I am a freelance proofreader and copy editor. My love of the English language dates back to my middle school years, and my experience as both a classroom teacher and writing tutor have provided an excellent springboard for proofreading and editing. I have a B.A. in English Education.

You can choose between two levels of proofreading/editing:
Basic Proofreading (typos, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and grammar errors) … $3.00/page
Copy Editing (checking structure, clarity, word choice, and basic proofreading) … $4.00/page
A page is defined as 250 words, so if you aren’t sure how many pages you have, divide your word count by 250. This makes up for differences in spacing, font sizes, etc.
If your project needs a more major overhaul (re-working and rearranging content, rewriting or contributing new content), we can discuss your rate on a case-by-case basis.
I will be happy to mark hard copies of text, or I can edit your work digitally.
